TOP Riverboarding > Send me riverboarding holiday options A relatively new adrenalin sport on the legendary Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls. You face the might of the Zambezi armed with only a foam board, fins and wetsuit, surfing some rapids and swimming others! It's regarded as the most fun you can have on your stomach and its wild and wet! Videos and photos of your trip can be obtained the same day. Safety and Requirements Several operators run trips and all have high safety standards which are complemented by the fact that that the rapids themselves are amongst the safest, due to the depth of the water and lack of rocks mid-stream. Guides are well trained and experienced. All guests are covered by the emergency services of MARS (Medical Air Rescue Services). Injuries are rare. Minimum age limit is 15 years. Participants should be fit, healthy and strong swimmers and be able to understand instructions in English.
